This programme is designed for those personnel who use Warehouse Racking.

Course Aim

To provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the hazards associated with the use of Warehouse Racking within the transport and logistics industry.

Training Methods

A high proportion of hands-on demonstration and practical exercises, supplemented with classroom based tutorials.

Locations

Can be delivered at COTS Llandarcy or client site with relevant racking installed.

​

Additional Information

Delegates attending this course should be 16+ years and be physically and mentally for to withstand the rigours of training.

Course Content

On successful completion of the course, delegates should be able to:

 

Use the correct method of conducting weekly rack inspections in accordance with

• HSWA1974

• PUWER 98

• HSG76

• SEMA Guidelines

 

Be able to inspect racking by using the following guidelines

• Racking damage

• Risk Assessing

• Safety

• Safe Working Loads
