One of the popular courses running regularly at COTS is IPAF training. Our IPAF training provides you with the skills to operate an elevated work platform machine.
A popular option is our MEWP (3a -Scissor Lift ; 3b - Boom) training course. The aim of this course is to provide you with a thorough understanding of the hazards associated with operating MEWPs.
By the end of your training, we ensure you have a working knowledge of how the MEWPs operate. You will be able to identify the major components of the machines and explain their functions, and also have the ability to carry out an effective pre-operational check.
The course has a high proportion of hands-on demonstration and practical exercises, supplemented with classroom based tutorials.
